Silent Trail in Pen Arthur Forest, Carmarthenshire

If you follow the trails all the way up the hill through Pen Arthur forest near Llandovery, there's a small path that leads into what has to be the most quiet bit of forest I've ever experienced. The silence is somewhat deafening — to the point you can hear a ringing in your ears. Even the birds seem to keep it down along this stretch. Absolutely sublime, and worth the climb.
